WATCH VIDEO: Burna-Boy To Sit Close To Davido During The 2024 Grammy Awards
Amid the rivalry between Singer, Davido and Burna-Boy. A video surfaced online showing a presenter revealing the seating arrangements for the 2024 Grammy awards ceremony, which will be held few hours from now, (5th February, at 2:00am WAT).
Recall that five Nigerian artistes; Ayra Starr, Davido, Burna-Boy, Asake and Olamide was nominated in different categories for the prestigious award.
Singer, Davido appears to be the Nigerian artiste with the highest nomination, in three different categories.
The video has created a lot of buzz online, due to how close Davido and Burna-Boy will be sitting, considering the rivalry between both.
There have been alot of speculation regarding what led to the beef and online scuffle between both artiste.
In 2020 Burna Boy released an album ‘Twice as Tall’ and in the abulm was a diss track ‘Way Too Big’ which many believed it was directed at Davido.
Davido replying to Burna-Boy, released his track, ‘FEM’ which is Yoruba slang for ‘shut up’. In the song he said;
“Then Odogwu says we like to party just call me…”.
That brings us to Burna-Boy song titled ‘Odogwu’, which he referred to himself as one.
He said;
“When I reach Igbo land, dem calling me Odogwu…”
Later in 2021, the two artiste was reported to have engaged in a fight in a club in Ghana.
