Seun Kuti reveals why he would not leave his wife if she sleeps with another man

Popular Afro hip hop singer, Seun Kuti has disclosed during an interview session on TVC that he wouldn’t leave his marriage should his wife be caught sleeping with another man.

According to him, love is not “ownership”. He explained that neither him nor his wife believes in cheating; hence, his wife’s cheating is incapable of ending their marriage.

“We don’t believe in cheating. What is cheating? Love is not ownership

One of the hosts asked Seun Kuti, “Would you leave her [your wife] if she cheats on you,” to which he replied, “No. What has that got to do with anything?”

His wife, Yetunde Kuti also affirmed that her husband’s cheating would not make her consider leaving her marriage. She said there is nothing her husband, Seun Kuti would do that will make her consider leaving him

“There is nothing my husband is going to do that would make me leave him. Even if he cheats on me I won’t leave him. I am not going to leave my husband because he cheated on me. Nah, that can’t happen.”
