Singer Speed Darlington names the Igbo people responsible for Nnamdi Kanu’s kidnap in Kenya
The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB ), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was renditioned in Kenya in 2021. However, the actual names of those responsible the alleged sabotage of Mr. Kanu, remains elusive.
Different names among the Igbo elite have been fingered; Senator Ifeanyi Uba stands tall among the names being accused of delivering Mazi Nnamdi Kanu into the hands of the Nigeria’s Department of State Security Services (DSS) in a political deal. The attorney general of the Federation then, Abubakar Malami described the process through which Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was renditioned in Kenya as resulting from “international security collaboration”.
Speed Darlington also known as Akpi Speed, a popular street singer in Nigeria and who hails from same geopolitical zone as Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has in his tweet, on the 28th of February, 2024, accused Igbo wealthy and political class of being responsible for the rendition of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in Kenya. He alleges that his accusers due to their selfish interest, are bent on subjugating the entire Igbo population so as to to accomplish their personal economic ends.
He tweeted: “Igbo billionaires the worst specie of human being we have, They just made money to oppress their own people nothing else. That’s why they had to gang up with the Nigeria government to illegal abduct the man that speaks and defends his own people on radio always”.
