13-Year-Old Boy Drowns In Lagos Beach
A 13-Year-Old boy identified as, Kelvin Onyengba, while hanging out with few friends at a beach in Lagos, reportedly got drowned while swimming.
The tragic incident took place on Tuesday, 27th February at about 12:00pm, at the Alatise beach in the Ajah area of Lagos State.
According to Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, the deceased died as a result of the sea’s waves, and the family is waiting for the body to emerge from the sea, before his burial.
His words partly;
“The incident happened yesterday. The mother of the boy said that the wave of the water swept her son. According to her, he went out with five of his friends to swim and hang out, but unfortunately, the boy did not come back to his parents.
“The scene of the incident was visited by detectives from the division while the family was waiting for the body to emerge from the sea. He said.
