Why I told the players today in our meeting that “I am not a normal boss” Pochettino

Amid speculations over his future at Chelsea football club, Mauricio Pochettino has disclosed that he had a meeting with the players today.

Pochettino is quoted by popular sport journalist, Fabrizio Romano to have assured the players that he has immense trust in them irrespective of their current dim in form and lack of positive results on the pitch. According to him, he is not a normal boss but the leader of the team; hence, will continue to support them than ever

“I told the players today in the meeting that I trust in you more than ever. I will support you more than ever. I am not a normal boss, I am the leader. I need to reflect in every action that I really trust”.

Chelsea moved from 10th on the premier league table to 11th following their 4:2 loss at Standford bridge to Wolverhampton FC over the immediate past weekend.

There have been calls for the Argentine to be sacked due to lack of consistency and poor outings in the premier league.

Pochettino had earlier revealed that he got an encouraging text from the club’s owner in which he stated that the players are young and require patience for them to prove their worth on the pitch.
