Video shows moment vice president Kashim Shettima was ignored by Super Eagles Players in their dressing after win over south Africa

A trending video online shows two scenes vice presidents of Nigeria, Kashim Shettima’s presence was ignored by Super Eagles Players after their win over south Africa last night.

Vice president Kashim Shettima was at the stadium to cheer the Super Eagles to victory over South Africa in their Semi Final match. The Super Eagles of Nigeria advanced to the final after winning South Africa 4:2 on penalty.

However, the vice president appeared to be unpopular among the super Eagles Players as well as supporters who chanted the name of a presidential candidate in Nigeria, Peter Obi while Kashim Shettima stood aloof, inglorious before the players and their supporters.

A repeat of similar event happened a few moments after in the players’ dressing room. While the players rejoiced and hugged, shook hands with legends such as Nwankwo Kanu, the presence of Vice president Kashim Shettima appeared neglected by the players.
