Yul Edochie speaks on his failed prophecy on Super Eagles winning AFCON

Popular filmmaker cum pastor, Yul Edochie has responded to the backlash he got from Nigerians online following his failed prophecy on the Super Eagles of Nigeria winning 2023 African Cup of Nations in Cote D’Ivoire.

Super Eagles of Nigeria lost their bid for 2023 AFCON glory to the host nation, Cote D’Ivoire. Yul Edochie who recently ventured into televangelism, had predicted that Super Eagles of Nigeria will triumph over Cote D’Ivoire in the final match; however, the reverse was the case.

Consequently, he was labeled a fake prophet by Nigerians online. However, the filmmaker in his response, appreciated the Super Eagles of Nigeria for getting into the final as well as for their great performance at the tournament.

He further declared his love for Nigeria while also stating that whether or not the Super Eagles won the the tournament that getting to the final is as good as winning the tournament.
